BWMacfarlane LLP  was established in Liverpool, 1926.

BWMacfarlane LLP  have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the city, its entrepreneurs, professionals and the surrounding economic region of the Northwest and North Wales. We have also had longstanding and fruitful associations with not for profit organsiations and charities too.

The firm has been going through steady and planned growth since the arrival in 1991 of the current Principal, Peter Taaffe who has brought us even closer to the changing needs of the our clients and the developments in the regional economy. Over the years we have built up a superb network of financial contacts and players for the benefit of our clients. They all share our philosophy of value, friendly service and the very best professional delivery we can give. Every time and to every client.

We now have a strong multidisciplinary team of around 25, many qualified traditionally or by experience, together with students in training contracts and other accounts and support staff. Most of our senior people have Big Four experience so you get top class advice at regional rates.

Extensive use is made of Information Technology to carry out and enhance the systems based approach to all aspects of our work. Great emphasis too is placed on professional training and continuous development.
