Sue trained with HM Revenue & Customs in 1983 becoming a tax inspector dealing with Revenue investigations. She subsequently qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 1991.

Sue left the Revenue to join the tax department of Ernst & Young in Liverpool in 1988 for ten years, becoming tax manager in charge of their personal tax department before joining BWM LLP initially as our tax manager in 1999. With over 30 years working in tax, Sue therefore has extensive experience of all aspects of individual and partnership taxation specialising in tax planning for high net worth individuals and their businesses. Sue is also well versed in overseas taxation and all matters relating to residence, domicile and double taxation agreements for clients personally as well as their various business interest and family settlements.

Sue now heads up our Tax and Trust departments ensuring a seamless link in the case of our wealthy clients and their families and personally actively engages with the clients to ensure they benefit from the full range of our added value services.
